About HiTide Gymnastics Club
At HiTide, we believe gymnastics is about so much more than cartwheels and backflips. We are a child-focused club with a single mission; to create a fun, nurturing and genuinely safe space where every child can thrive.
The world can be a big, overwhelming place for all of us. We wanted to build somewhere that felt like a breath of fresh air. A community where children feel seen, supported and celebrated exactly as they are. Whether your child is attempting their very first forward roll or nailing a backflip, we will cheer just as loudly. Ability is never the measure here. Joy is.
Every coach we hire is chosen not just for their gymnastics knowledge, but for their kindness, patience and warmth. We believe children flourish when they feel safe, and that starts with the people leading the room. Our coaches don't just teach gymnastics, they listen, encourage and show up for every child, on the good days and the not so good ones too.
You'll feel it the moment you walk through our doors. It's hard to put into words, but our members always say the same thing, it just feels like home.
Our Story
HiTide was born from personal experience. Like many gymnasts, our founder's journey in the sport wasn't always a positive one. Rather than walk away, that experience became a driving force, a quiet but powerful mission to identify everything that was missing and build something better.
Something kinder. Something that puts the child first, always.
Our founder is proudly ADHD, and that shapes everything about how we run HiTide. We naturally gravitate towards patience, understanding and meeting children where they are. Every child is different, and we embrace that wholeheartedly.
We are proud of the structured, progressive classes we offer. Your child will grow, develop and surprise themselves here. But if we are honest, our proudest moments aren't the skills unlocked, they are the shy child who came out of their shell, the nervous beginner who left beaming, the child who just needed somewhere to belong and found it with us.
If you are a parent who cares deeply about who your child is becoming - not just physically, but emotionally and socially, then HiTide is for you. We don't just develop gymnasts. We help raise confident, happy, resilient humans.
And we'd love for your child to be part of our community. 🤸

Tara
FOUNDER
I love gymnastics! I take great pleasure in teaching gymnasts moves they’ve always wanted to learn. It is the most rewarding part of my job. I have extensive experience in coaching the sport to children and adults in both Brighton and London. I was a recreational gymnast when I was younger, but quickly found at age 14, that teaching, rather than training was my passion. Coaching doesn’t ever feel like work to me, so I’ve set out to find coaches who feel the same…
